Kate Hudson laughs at buzz over A-Rod's self-portraits.

We saw a lot of action on a story we recently reported about Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez boasting paintings of himself as Greek centaur in his bedroom. A reporter recently asked Kate Hudson to vouch for the story, but Hudson refused. She's quoted answering, "That is the craziest thing anyone has ever asked me."

Are you sure, Kate? One of A-Rod's exes recently came forward to claim that the centaur portraits allegedly adorning his bedroom were a sign of the fact that, as the ex said, "He was so vain . . . It was ridiculous."

Kate Hudson's staying mum. "I don't indulge in those types of stories," she told the interviewer, "As humorous as you might think they are." And when the interviewer held up a mock-up image of Alex Rodriguez as a centaur, Hudson said, "What is that? That's horrible." Probably not as high-quality a portrayal as the ones adorning your boyfriend's bedroom walls, right Kate?
