Kate Hudson Leaves Sydney Fashion Event High and Dry
Kate Hudson's withdrawal from a high-profile Sydney fashion event has left organisers high and dry. Hudson was set to act as international ambassador for the publisher ACP's 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty promotion, which runs for a month and has in the past featured Elle Macpherson and Eva Mendes.
But organisers have not been able to fill Hudson's place with an international name. They have recruited models Alyssa Sutherland, Pania Rose and singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte to launch a variety of events. ACP's publishing and sales director Lynette Phillips said: "Kate Hudson was originally considered as the international ambassador for 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty. However, the reasons for not bringing in an international celebrity this year was our change in direction."
