Kate Hudson's Son Shocked By 'Nine'
Kate Hudson gets a thumbs-up from her toughest critic.
Don't you love how little kids' expressions never hide a thing? Ryder Russell Robinson, Kate Hudson's 5-year-old son, was pretty wowed to see his mom in Nine, according to Hudson.
Kate Hudson's quoted at the Nine premier in London Thursday night as saying that when Ryder accompanied her to the set of the film (which hits theaters December 25), he was all eyes and ears. "It the first time I saw him in shock, recognizing what it is that I do," Hudson said. "I really think it was the first time it hit him."
Hudson has said that she too loved the singing and dancing role in Nine, which is based on the 1982 Tony-winning Broadway musical. "It's like the most exhilarating, joyful thing in the world - I had so much fun," Hudson says of her role as a cheeky journalist. She has said that she felt perfectly cut out for the role (which is said to have been created for her) because she grew up dancing in the tradition of her mother, Goldie Hawn.
