Katie Holmes' Bodyguard Breaks Up Fight
Katie Holmes put her bodyguard to work in Lygon Street, the heart of Melbourne's large Italian enclave of Carlton. Holmes dropped in to the San Churro chocolate show and was choosing some sweet items while a cluster of photographers gathered at the shopfront window – six in all.
A bunch of thugs emerged and started heckling the photographers. Said a witness: "This table of tough guys got up and began yelling at the photographers to leave the lady alone. "These guys began pushing and threatening the photographers and it started to get pretty scary." Holmes's bodyguard switched roles. "All of a sudden her bodyguard, who looked like a big version of Tom Selleck, came out of the shop and broke up the fight. He definitely saved the paparazzi from being bashed." The next day, Holmes and her hunky husband, Tom Cruise, took daughter Suri, 3, to the city's Royal Botanic Gardens. Onlookers said the couple cuddled while the little girl slept in Holmes's arms by the lake.
