Katy Perry isn't into vampires

Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson were spotted hanging out last week. And the rumors immediately started flying. But Katy has a few things she wants you to know. She's taken to Twitter to try to clear up these rumors.

For as much as people bash Twitter, you have to admit, it really is the best way for celebrities to clear up rumors about themselves. It seems like it should be both a PR manager's nightmare and dream. After all, the tweets come directly from the celebrity him or herself and everyone is paying attention. There's less of a way for the messages to get skewed through various media sources. And celebrities can immediately respond to rumors about themselves.

Though Katy Perry has been dating Russell Brand for a few months now, people were starting to think they're relationship had ended and she was moving on to Twilight star Robert Pattinson. Katy Perry flew to her Twitter account in an attempt to dispel these crazy rumors. The other day, she sent out a tweet that states, "Read a bunch of yesterdays-news-BULLOCKS. Ppl should know by now that I don't do vampires, but I do, DO @rustyrockets. Don't get it TWISTED!"

Of course, @rustyrockets is Russell Brand's Twitter name. And so now you know. Katy Perry is not interested in Robert Pattinson. She's only interested in "doing" one man. And I have to say, I'm pretty thrilled she and Russell are still going so strong; I hope their relationship lasts a long time! And that Robert Pattinson really is with Kristen Stewart!
