Katy Perry's Manager Cuts the Lights

Katy Perry's management cut the lights when questions by reporters started to go remotely in the direction of a Katie by the same surname. The lawsuit filed and dropped against an Australian fashion designer, Katie Perry, is old news.

But the topic is raw with Perry. When a television reporter asked Perry in Sydney what Australian artists she admired, the lights went out on a pre-taped interview. "We thought someone must have tripped over the lead to the lights but we later found out Katy's manager pulled the plug because he thought I had asked an offensive question," said entertainment reporter Nuala Hafner. But Perry stepped in to salvage the situation, explaining there was nothing wrong with the question. "She was just delightful and very keen to make amends. She calmed him [manager] down and, after several apologies, the interview resumed," said Hafner.
