Kelly Ripa Working Out: No Primping to Get Ripped

Kelly Ripa says she looks like Peter Pan.

Kelly Ripa doesn't give a toss about looking cute while spinning. Discussing her workout habits on Live! with Regis and Kelly, she said that she's almost unrecognizable...although she did say that she looked like "Peter Pan" when she worked out!

Kelly Ripa told the guest host, Bryant Gumbel, that SoulCycle is her place to scrape her hair back and get buff. The New York spinning studio is popular with celebs, so she's probably not the only one going undercover, either.

Gumbel claimed that the guys check her out at the gym, but Kelly disagreed.

"No, never! You've never seen me work out. I look like Peter Pan," she said. "The makeup comes off, the hair goes into a bun and the padded bra comes off, and Peter Pan is floating next to you on a bike. I bet you I could spin next to you and you would not know it was me."

Even though Kelly might not be trying to look hot while working out (and who should, really?), she said that there is one part of the gym that's "sexy" to her.

"I think everybody really pulls together, and there's something sexy about the sound and look of a unified group of people working out," Kelly said about spinning.

I know that I would never recognize Kelly "Peter Pan" Ripa working out. I never pay attention to anything except my feet in motion! I would like to know if she wears green when she's working out, too...
