Kim Kardashian Gives Fans a Look at Jewelry Collection

Kim Kardashian's no stranger to the jewelry designing world, already having completed a collaboration with her sisters and Virgins, Saints, and Angels. PEOPLE grabbed the first sketches released for Kim's new line, and the pieces aren't half bad.

Keep in mind that I am paying Kim a compliment while never having stepped foot in DASH, and I have no interest in any of her branded products, either. It's genuine; I'm not Kardashian Krazed.

Kim Kardashian's Belle Noel by Pascal Mouawad looks sophisticated and inspired, but guesses are that the problems lie in product quality. It comes out in January 2011, and the 75-piece line will start at $11 and go up to $150. We could end up seeing gold plate and poor faux-stone settings galore with that price range, and I'm not sure now much of a stickler Kim is for materials and findings.

Kim Kardashian said that her inspiration came from '30s costume jewelry, explaining "Belle Noel was inspired by the true art of costume jewelry that became popular in the '30s. My collection ranges from understated, everyday pieces to bold, lavish creations."

She added that she wants you to wear her jewelry from work to the cocktail hour, but I want to know if her pieces can withstand that level of wear... I've been very disappointed with jewelry I've bought in her price range that's supposed to be "glamorous."
