Kim Kardashian's Wedding Invites Are In the Mail
Check Your Mail Boxes -- the Kardashian Wedding Invites Are On Their Way!
Funny thing, ours appears to have been lost in the mail, too, but fortunately E! Online shared a snapshot of the matrimonial summons and it looks and sounds just as gawdy as we'd expect from a couple who is registered for a $1,750 coffee pot (if only they sold it at Bed, Bath and Beyond -- we could at least use a twenty percent off coupon).
For those who did make the cut for the wedding list, expect to first open a silver cardboard box, within which you'll find a gate-fold case that you'll have to rip open to finally reach the all important invitation. Letter-pressed with a double-K insignia, Mama Kris gets top billing as the invite reads: "Kris and Bruce Jenner request the pleasure of your company at the marriage of their daughter Kimberly Kardashian to Kristopher Humphries."
Whew, for a second there we were worried Humph's name wouldn't make the cut.
The blessed event will take place on Saturday, August 20 in the lush seaside town of Montecito, California. While the exact venue has yet to be revealed, the family was kind enough to include information on hotel suggestions (we're guessing there aren't any room blocks at the local Best Western), a parking pass and a dress code. That's right, this party comes with rules so you best dig out your finest black-and-white black tie threads if you want to party like a Kardashian.
We'd tell you to mark your calendars for August 20, but our guess is that E! will re-run enough footage of this soiree to last for a very, very long time.
Are you interested in watching the Kardashian-Humpries nuptials? Or, do you wish they'd just go away?
Will you watch Kim's big walk down the aisle?
