Kirsten Dunst In Court For Stolen Purse
A reported $17,000 worth of goods stolen while the Spider Man star was on set
Kirsten Dunst appeared as a star witness Thursday in a criminal case against a man who allegedly snatched her bag while she was busy filming.
As the 27-year-old actress shot a scene for the upcoming How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, it's alleged 35-year-old James Jimenez wandered into Dunst's penthouse suite at the SoHo Grand Hotel in New York City with a $13,000 Balenciaga bag (whoa!), a $2,000 Marc Jacobs bag and $2,000 worth of cash stashed inside.
Jimenez was charged with burglary, and his co-defendant pleaded guilty to attempted burglary. Dunst reportedly got her purse and credit cards back, but according to reports, the money was never recovered.
