Wanna know what your man is thinking the next time he goes in for a kiss? Of course you do!
Not surprisingly, in a study done by Rutgers University, researchers found that men use kissing as a means to an end. In other words, they kiss to get laid.
Out of the men polled, more than half assumed that a kiss would lead to sex.
On the other hand, women use kissing to access their mate. Questions like, "Do I like him?," "Do I like his kissing style?," and "Would he be good in bed?" all run through our minds before, during, and after a lip-lock.
So why do 90% of cultures kiss if each sex has a different idea of what it means?
It turns out a disproportionate amount of our brain is geared toward interpreting signals from our mouths. That means we kiss to pick up data, and work it all out in our minds - even if we're making different conclusions.
