Kristen Bell Is Red Carpet Ready
From Our Friends at The Insider
Red carpet beauty is such an intimidating thing--celebs look all shiny, pretty, and gorgeous, and even when their frocks are misguided lumps of tulle, there's something done very right. We're hunting down ways to get polished for a party quicker after seeing these flawless shots of Kristen Bell.
Here are some quick fix tips for the red carpet so you can start looking hot so matter where you are headed. It might not be to a star-studded party, but your friends at the work bash are going to be suitably impressed!
*Choose a temporary leg foam instead of self-tanner. Even if you're like "Ew! I hate self-tanner," part of the secret behind your looking hot is choosing stuff that makes your skin look amazing. Imperfect leg shaving, nicks, scrapes, and bruises all become less of an issue with an innocuous layer of leg tint.
*Stick with the basics. Do not, I repeat, do NOT try to go "all out." If you are new to dressing up for mega bashes, simply rock what works. Don't wear red lipstick if you've never worn it, dye your hair before the party, or wear colored contacts. Go for tried-and-true looks, just a little bit more bold. Instead of pink lip gloss, go for a pink-ish lipstick, or instead of layers of brown mascara, work up a pretty taupe eyeshadow look with slightly smokey eyes in brown.
*Be good to your hair. I love styling other people's hair, but I have a ton of trouble with my own. If you don't know what to do or simply don't have time, try rolling your hair into a cute chignon or bun, leaving curly strands out around the face to frame everything. That way, it's a simple slick with bobby pins, plus a tiny bit of curling/waving at the front. it's pretty foolproof, as long as you remember the side part and the hairspray.
