Kristen Stewart Walks For Diabetes Research
Kristen Stewart stepped out Sunday morning to raise diabetes awareness.
Kristen Stewart has a heart for more than only Robert Pattinson -- Sunday she turned up at L.A.'s Dodgers Stadium to support an important charity.
Kristen Stewart and retired pro boxer Sugar Ray Leonard turned out to cut the ribbon for Sunday morning's annual Walk To Cure Diabetes by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Stewart and Leonard were known as the Celebrity Walk Ambassadors, raising bystander and press awareness of the event.
Kristen Stewart took the stage to applaud the 15,000 fundraiser particpants."I'm truly honored to be here with you guys today," she said. "I have a profound respect for all of you and your hard work and dedication."
.
It's being said Kristen seemed a little nervous for the talk, and it sounds like it may have been a last-minute arrangement as she was a "surprise guest" for the crowd. It's no wonder she's packing in the appearances: New Moon promoters have Kristen doing over a half-dozen more presentations to the public before New Moon releases on November 20. (Later Sunday she and her co-stars took off to Paris to promote the film.)
Check out Kristen's greeting to the crowd here - and check this out too: Kristen Stewart may have a kind and giving heart, but Robert Pattinson has stepped forward to say that he's never done a romantic thing in his life.
