Apparently we've been missing the bigger picture here: maybe there isn't an actual love triangle going on between Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson, but more of a smoke screen. Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner could very well be crushing on each other hard, and we've been looking too closely at the mythical Robsten. Just maybe. . .

There are several options for what could be going on between Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, and all of it is exciting, believable, or interesting at least. The chemistry is undeniable, people! 1. The Flirt Tactic: Let's say that Kristen really was planning on breaking up with Robert Pattinson during Comic-Con time this year, if they were actually together in the first place. That could be why she was leaning into Taylor and looking adorable, and avoiding Robert altogether. And now she's with Taylor? Hey, who knows!

2. The New Moon Muffle: Who knows what the execs say behind the scenes? Maybe Kristen wasn't allowed to have contact with Robert because of the promotion of the Bella-Jacob connection for New Moon, and as a result, she developed feelings for Taylor.

3. The Making Up/Smokescreen: It obvious that Kristen and Robert Pattinson are close and hanging out, at least from their recent L.A. sleepovers and concert goings. If they really are "just friends," there's a good chance that this syrupy interaction between Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner means love connection!
