It Was a Narrow Miss

Kristin Cavallari recently had a close call when she (almost) hit the red carpet: she thought that it was a good idea to wear an all-white frock sans bra to a big event, but apparently forgot about the flashbulbs! We have a feeling that her rival California girl Lauren Conrad wouldn't forget something so essential, although Kristin and her seem to have the same taste in dresses. . .

When Kristin Cavallari was poised to pose for Fred Segal's All-White Birthday and Charity Party in Malibu this past weekend, she balked when she remembered that there could be a serious "fashion disaster" in her future.

A source told FOX411 that "Kristin refused to walk the red carpet because she was very concerned her nipples would show through her all white dress and she wanted to avoid a fashion disaster." One correspondent managed to grab one pic of Kristin Cavallari when she was away from the zoom lenses, but she was looking a little bit on the sheepish side.

One word: Nippits.
