Kristin Cavallari's No. 1 Show
The Hills Beats All
Kristin Cavallari is either getting lied to, or she's super delusional--maybe a bit of both. The reality show star insists that The Hills is doing very well, and in fact is the "no. 1 show." Maybe she's thinking about the time when Lauren Conrad was on The Hills?
Kristin Cavallari was questioned about the show's 30% drop in ratings recently, and she didn't only sidestep the question, but came up with a pretty weak reasoning about why the show was doing so poorly. Oh no, it's definitely not her...
"[Kristin] insisted that The Hills 'is the No. 1 show and we are doing really well. [...] No, [the ratings] are not [down]! We had one drop because of the Hip Hop awards on VH1, but then they went up the next week."
Kristen also said that it's not very nice to say it's all her fault--even though she was the major change from last season to now.
"At the end of the day it's not up to me to make a great TV show," she said. "It's the whole crew, the whole cast. It's not just on me. I think to put all that pressure on me is pretty unfair."
I am still tuning in, but I definitely think the show has gone downhill. It's simply not the same without Lauren, and don't even get me started on the dialogue. I also think that in the ratings game, things are pretty cut-and-dried. Even if you don't acknowledge it, it's still true!
