Lady GaGa To Beyonce: I Want To Be You
Lady GaGa and Beyonce go doublemint for "Video Phone."
When Beyonce invited Lady GaGa to appear in the video for her new song "Video Phone," she gave GaGa free creative rein. Lady GaGa reportedly told a radio station this week, "When I was doing her video with her, she called me, and she said, 'What do you want to do?'"
"And I'm like, 'I don't want to show up in some frickin' hair bow and be fashion GaGa in your video'. I said, 'I want to do you'."
So the pair teamed up for some Beyonce-inspired choreography, and Lady GaGa got so into it that around the set she became known as "Gee-yonce." (And with the $2,000 Beyonce had this week, who wouldn't want to be her?)
Apparently Beyonce and Gee-yonce hit it off so well that Beyonce will appear on GaGa's new album in a duet. Check them out together in the "Video Phone" video...the resemblance is actually odd.
