By day, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta is a successful singer, songwriter and musician, but by night she becomes the infamous Lady Gaga, a pantless superhero performer. This is her story.

Born in New York to Italian American parents, little Stefani learned the piano by age 4, and was already writing ballads by her 13th birthday. Then she went to art school and became a professional songwriter, penning tunes for groups like the Pussycat Dolls.

Now she's made it big, and is known for her crazy outfits (see "the bubble suit" below) as much as her catchy songs. On a trip to Russia recently she was almost arrested for flashing a little too much skin near a cathedral.

Other than her signature hot flashes, Gaga has also built a reputation as a die-hard entertainer. In fact, after she almost collapsed from exhaustion on stage at a show in Georgia, her record label has forced her to take time off.

So to give The Lady a break, we figured we'd shoulder some of the burden for awhile. Here's a sample we've put together of some of Gaga's more amazing outfits. Enjoy.
