Lauren Conrad Talks About The 'Boyfriend Layer'

The Hills star Lauren Conrad said she grew a "boyfriend layer" at the beginning of her relationship as she worked out less and ate more meals out. Lauren, 23, who previously dated Paris Hilton's boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, is currently seeing My Boys actor Kyle Howard.

Talking about the beginning of her relationship, she said: "I call it the 'boyfriend layer'. We were having more romantic dinners out, and I was exercising less." However, Lauren had a good idea of how to work out and see her beau - take him to the gym with her. She said: "I just ask Kyle: 'You feel like working out?' It's more fun that hitting the gym alone.' Lauren added: "We like doing outdoor stuff: tennis, bike riding, kayaking, stand-up surfing, hiking in the canyons around LA."
