Lauren Conrad Wants Hollywood Candy to Be a Movie

The Hills star Lauren Conrad recently came out with her first book, Hollywood Candy. And that book quickly made the New York Times bestseller list. Now Lauren has even bigger plans for it.
Lauren wants to turn Hollywood Candy into a movie and she thinks there's a definite possibility it could happen. Lauren says, "We're hoping for a movie deal. I'm working on [adapting the book] right now, but I don't want to commit to anything until I see all my options. We have had a lot of exciting news in that respect, though."
The Hills with Lauren Conrad was so successful, so we don't see why a very similar story wouldn't take to the big screen. And that makes us wonder if Lauren Conrad would play the leading lady. After all, the book is based loosely on her life and she does already have acting experience (since we've discovered The Hills isn't really reality). And people actually like Lauren too!
In addition to working on getting her book to the big screen, Lauren has revealed she's also already working on the sequel to Hollywood Candy.
We can't wait to see if the book takes to the big screen and who will form the cast! We're guessing Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt won't be making appearances?
