Liam Neeson Joins Russell Crowe for 'Three Days'
He'll play a veteran jail-breaker.
Liam Neeson is staying hard at work. The Irish-born actor (and new American citizen) has signed on to star opposite Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks in the upcoming thriller, The Next Three Days.
The film, produced by Lionsgate, follows the trial and imprisonment of a woman for a murder she claims she didn't commit. Her husband (presumably Crowe) then decides to break her out of jail, after consulting with a man (Neeson) who has sprung himself several times from prison and written a book about it.
Since tragically losing his wife, Natasha Richardson, to a skiing accident earlier this year, Neeson has remained hard at work. The actor is even set to portray Abraham Lincoln in the upcoming Steven Spielberg adaptation of the popular book, Team of Rivals.
Neeson can also be seen in the upcoming big-screen version of the popular '60s tv show, the A Team. He will play team leader and master of disguise John "Hannibal" Smith.
