Allen, 25, had been recovering at home in England after losing her baby just days ago, when she developed the condition and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
Her publicist released a statement that Allen is "responding well" to treatment and and that her condition "continues to improve."
Just hours earlier, Allen had tweeted her thanks to all the fans and friends who had expressed their condolences for the loss of her baby. Stars like Justin Bieber and Katy Perry also sent her their prayers.

"I'm still very sick but the messages are helping me to be stronger," Allen wrote. "Thank you x x." She added: "Thank you for all your kind messages."
Tragically, this is the second baby Allen has lost during a miscarriage. In January 2008 she miscarried a child she had been expecting with musician Ed Simons. During the second pregnancy, with current boyfriend Sam Cooper, she was six months pregnant.
