Biography
Bradley Cooper was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 5, 1975 to Charlie and Gloria Cooper. Cooper's family lived in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania when he was growing up. He went to Germantown Academy for high school, Villanova for his first year of college, and then Georgetown University for his final three years of school. He majored in English and graduated in 1997.
Soon after graduating, Cooper made the move to New York where he attended the Actors Studio Drama School at New School University. It wasn't too long before he started landing TV gigs. His first role was on the HBO hit show Sex and the City followed by a role in the short-lived primetime FOX series The $treet alongside Jennifer Connelly, Bridget Wilson-Sampras, and Tom Everett Scott.
In 2001, Cooper made his feature film debut with a part in the comedy Wet Hot American Summer. The film has acquired a cult following even after dismal critic reviews. After that, he landed guest roles on Alias, Touching Evil, and Miss Match, a series that didn't last long. He appeared in 46 episodes of Alias as the character Will Tippin over the course of 5 years. He also was a main character in the political WB show Jack and Bobby that debuted in 2004.

In 2005, Cooper really got noticed after his role in Wedding Crashers opposite Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. That led to roles in Failure to Launch with Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker, The Comebacks, and the lead role on the Fox show Kitchen Confidential. He also did a memorable stint in a recurring role on the racy television show Nip/Tuck.
Cooper returned to the big screen in a big way in 2009. He played one of the leads in the ensemble romantic comedy He's Just Not That Into You co-starring many of Hollywood's biggest names like Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Connelly, and Scarlett Johansson. He followed that with another lead role in the hit comedy The Hangover with Ed Helms and Heather Graham.
Cooper has three more movies releasing in 2009: Case 39 with Renee Zellweger, All About Steve with Sarah Bullock and New York, I Love You with Natalie Portman, Rachel Bilson, Orlando Bloom, and Blake Lively among others. He's also starring in the 2010 ensemble romantic comedy Valentine's Day and just recently confirmed his role in the upcoming A-Team movie as Lt. Templeton 'Faceman' Peck.
Cooper's romantic life has stayed under the radar until he started pairing off with some of Hollywood's most notable names. But before he was featured weekly in the tabloids, he married Samantha Who? actress Jennifer Esposito. They wed in 2006 but got divorced 4 months later. Early in 2009, he was linked to He's Just Not That Into You costar Jennifer Aniston. And most recently, he's been photographed out and about with Case 39 costar Renee Zellweger.
