Megan Fox Reportedly in Talks to Play Elizabeth Taylor

Lindsay Lohan may have been rumored to be up for the role of Elizabeth Taylor in a new biopic, but she's got some stiff competition.

Now, Megan Fox is reportedly in talks to play Taylor, according to E! Online.

Larry Thompson, executive producer of Lifetime's Liz and Dick, told E!: "I've been talking to Lindsay Lohan directly, and with her reps, and have been in conversations with other actresses, including Megan Fox. It's a very serious selection. It's like casting for Hollywood royalty."

Well, I would hope it's a serious selection. (Then again, it is a Lifetime movie, so ...)

If I had to choose one of them to take the role ... well, don't make me choose, please!

Lohan is probably the better actress, although I haven't seen her in anything in ages, so who knows how well she'd do. Fox has a lot less baggage to bring along, which counts for something.

Fox isn't the greatest actress, but she's hot. So there's that.

Fox may also have more of the dark hair/pale complexion to pull off Elizabeth Taylor, but Lilo could dye her hair or sport a wig.

Lohan is still on probation until the end of March, so that likely puts her at a disadvantage, as Liz and Dick is said to begin shooting in Canada this spring.

As someone who goes to great lengths to avoid Lifetime movies, I wouldn't care to see either playing the role of Taylor.
