Just when I've been getting used to black leather everywhere, tan suede is taking over. But that's something I can deal with, since I've always been a suede fan. And we don't even have to wait for spring to start rocking the suede look!

Most of us are starting to get pretty sick of winter right about now. But because it's only the first day of February, we know we could have quite a bit more winter to get through before the weather warms up. But that doesn't mean we can't start shifting our wardrobes to spring right about now. And we should be starting with a little bit of suede.

Suede was seen all over the runways at spring 2010 fashion week from Alexander Wang to Celine to Phi and as StyleHive tells us, it fits right along with the military and tribal looks. And you can already start rocking the suede wearing suede booties paired with tights or a not-too-small suede skirt paired with a wintry top. And it's never too early for a chic little suede purse.

Head over to StyleHive.com to check out a whole slideshow of fun suede pieces. Some you can start wearing now. But be sure to save a few for spring when suede gets really hot!

don't you have to be a bit more careful with suede? not really daily-wear friendly
