Mandy Moore opens up about DJ AM death
Mandy Moore has told of her heartbreak at the death of former boyfriend, DJ AM. The singer and actress, who dated the celebrity disc jockey, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, for several months in 2007, said she was devastated.
"I am absolutely heartbroken. For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend. To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement. "My heart goes out to his loved ones." Tragic Goldstein, 36, was found dead in his New York apartment on Friday evening after reportedly suffering from a drugs overdose. Last year he survived a plane crash that killed four people and seriously injured Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker. He was previously engaged to Nicole Richie. Moore, 25, married singer-songwriter Ryan Adams in March 2009.
