Mary-Kate and Ashley's Friends Help With Olsenboye

Friends in high places

As if it wouldn't be cool enough to be friends with the famous and fashionable Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. But they've actually been going to their friends for help on their juniors clothing line Olsenboye. It's nice to have friends in high places, huh?

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen have always been proof that success can come early in life. But they didn't fade away as they grew up, like most child stars do. They kept taking on new ventures and making their name even more known. They're still only 23 years old, but they're definitely not slowing down any time soon. And now they've launched their junior line, Olsenboye, especially for JCPenney. And their friends are helping out!

Mary-Kate told People, "We've been working with our friends who are our age and in art school... They've helped out with the art on the web sites and doing the commercials and the videos." I can't say I'm not slightly jealous by these lucky young people who just happen to be friends with the Olsens.

And I think it's awesome that Mary-Kate and Ashley are offering fashion to their younger fans who can't afford Elizabeth and James no matter how much they want it. Nothing in their JCPenney line is more than $50 and most of it is much, much less. Mary-Kate says, "All the people at JCPenney have totally embraced all of our friends that have now participated in these projects and it's a lot of young talent and I think it's really exciting."

Yay for young people becoming successful and giving back to other young people. Just one more reason why Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen rock.
