Whoa!

We heard rumors that Megan Fox wouldn't be in Transformers 3 a long time ago. But then it seemed like Michael Bay had a change of heart and decided he wanted the actress in his film anyway. But now it's been announced Megan Fox has been dropped from the movie... Whose decision was it?

A lot of people had mixed reactions to Megan Fox and her role in the Transformers movies. Everyone from the audience, to the cast, to the director, to Megan herself had something to say about why she should or shouldn't continue on with her role as Mikaela Banes. So, we're not really surprised Megan has been dropped from Transformers 3. We're just wondering whose decision it was.

On the one hand, we're hearing that producers dropped Megan's role because they want Shia LaBeouf's character, Sam, to go into this new movie as a single guy and to possibly find a new love interest. This makes sense, but we can't help but wonder if producers want Sam to find a new girl simply because Megan Fox is a pain in the butt to work with. Really, we wouldn't blame them if this was the case.

Of course, Megan Fox is claiming it was her decision to leave the film and that she wasn't dropped at all. Reps for Megan told People, "Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3... It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best."

Whose story do you believe? It's likely that we'll never get the whole truth, but it's clear Megan wasn't very happy filming the movies. She once compared Michael Bay to Hitler when he's on set, and then went on to say he's incredibly socially awkward off set.

Are you happy Megan Fox was dropped from the third Transformers movie? We can't wait to see who they replace her with!
