Meghan McCain Busts Out on Twitter
Meghan needs to put the kids to bed.
Taking racy pictures of yourself and posting them to Facebook, Twitter or MySpace is nothing new. But when you have thousands of followers and you're the child of a famous politician it may be a different story. Meghan McCain, daughter of senator John McCain, caused an uproar after she posted a "busty" photo of herself to her Twitter profile.
According to her Twitter updates, McCain, 24, spent a "spontaneous night in" with her Andy Warhol biography last night and decided to post a Twitpic of the event. As you can see, the young lady's assets are the unmistakeable main attraction, and this has had the web aflame for the last 20 hours with both criticism and support.
In a series of follow-up tweets, McCain lashed out at first, then realized she should probably apologize.
"So I took a fun picture not thinking anything about what I was wearing but apparently anything other than a pantsuit I am a slut," she said.
"When I am alone in my apartment, I wear tank tops and sweat pants, I had no idea this makes me a 'slut', I can’t even tell you how hurt I am."
Then (perhaps after a phone call from pops?) she expressed regret for posting picture. "I do want to apologize to anyone that was offended by my twitpic," she said. "I have clearly made a huge mistake and am sorry 2 those that are offended."
