Memorial For Patrick Swayze Finally Scheduled

Hollywood will mourn loss of Patrick Swayze next weekend, nearly three weeks after his passing.

When Patrick Swayze passed away on September 14, some fans were so desperate to express their grief that they held an informal, free gathering at the hotel on Lake Lure, North Carolina, where Dirty Dancing was filmed.

This Sunday, October 4, a formal memorial service will be held dedicated to Swayze in Los Angeles. Colleagues and friends of Swayze, as well as members of the public, will have the chance to gather at Sony Studios.
