Men Stare at Opposite Sex 43 Minutes a Day
That's a lotta looking.
According to a new study, men stare at up to 10 women a day, which equals about 43 minutes spent every day ogling. That equals almost one year of their lives.
"Men are renowned for looking at women," said Mark Ireland of Kodak Lens Vision Centers, which sponsored the poll, "but it's interesting to see just how long they spend doing it. A year of your life is a long time to spend with your eyes fixed on the opposite sex."
The study, carried out by British researchers, also found that women gawk at men about half as much. Women stare at about 6 men a day, for a total of 20 minutes. That's about six months of their lives.
3,000 Britons were polled and, other than the amount of time they spend staring, men revealed that supermarkets are their favorite place to ogle, followed by bars and nightclubs. Women preferred bars.
Though they disagree on the best location to look, both sexes agreed that the attention is nice.
