Michael Jackson's Daughter Breaks Down at Memorial
Michael Jackson’s 11-year-old daughter Paris broke down in tears on stage at his public memorial in heart-breaking scenes, as she paid tribute to “the best father you could ever imagine”. Brave Paris spoke out for the first time about her love for her superstar dad, after joining the whole family and Jacko’s showbiz friends for a spectacular finale to the pop legend’s memorial.
The family emerged from a group hug and Jackson’s sister Janet lowered the microphone, before Paris said in a hushed voice: “I just want to say…” Her supportive aunt, Janet, urged her to speak up before a faltering Paris burst into tears. “Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine,” she said. “I just want to say I love him so much.” The Jacksons immediately moved in to comfort a sobbing Paris. Just moments later, Jackson’s coffin was wheeled away from the front of the stage, where it had been for the entire three-hour memorial, as the sad event drew to a tear-jerking close.
