It's Thursday, and you know what that means: It's creepy celebrity memorabilia day! On this week's auction block, the black surgical mask worn by Michael Jackson the day before he died.
Auction house Nate D. Sanders Auctions is putting up for sale the black mask Michael Jackson wore the day before he died, and during rehearsal for his This Is It tour, in June of 2009.
According to the house, the mask "covered the singer's nose and mouth" and contains visible traces of the King of Pop's makeup. It also reportedly has one of the singer's dark black hairs attached to it.
The mask was under possession of Jackson's personal bodyguard, Eric Muhammed, who signed a certificate verifying that MJ wore it on his penultimate day on Earth.
Bidding for the mask has already reached $21,000 and experts believe it could fetch anywhere from $50,000 to $150,000 by the time the auction ends April 30.
