Michael Lohan: Prescription Drugs Are Killing Lindsay
Lindsay Lohan's dad reveals the real reason Lindsay's not working.
Michael Lohan has learned from Michael Jackson. He's taking a brave step forward to warn the world what will happen to his daughter if she doesn't change her ways.
We know about Lindsay Lohan's DUI charge and stints in rehab...but alcohol and cocaine are only part of the problem, according to her dad. He says, "You know why Lindsay's not acting in feature films right now? Because she can't. Because the girl with all the talent is hidden and buried deep inside this fungus that's grown because of the prescription drugs."
The older Lindsay gets, the steeper down her spiral goes. Michael Lohan says, "She's a different person [than she was as a kid]. I was [in L.A.] for a week when she was living at the Sunset Marquis Hotel and I would sit there and cry. It was horrible. This was not the kid I raised."
He knows his divorce from Lindsay's mom Dina has contributed to Lindsay's demons: "The Lindsay Lohan I lived with when I was married was a focused, intelligent, gifted girl that needed no prescription medication, no assistance from a therapist...Everything was fine in our family until Dina and I got divorced. And that's when all the kids' lives started to unravel...including Lindsay's."
