Michelle Obama To Host 'Iron Chef' At White House
Michelle Obama and the White House garden host fierce competition.
Iron Chef America couldn't be more American, thanks to First Lady Michelle Obama. The Food Network announced Wednesday that Iron Chef will see Mario Batali, Emeril Lagasse, Bobby Flay and White House chef Christeta Comerford duke it out in the White House garden.
Word has it the chefs will be allowed to take anything in the Obamas' garden and use it to prepare their dishes. Then, the chefs will travel back to New York to Food Network's Kitchen Stadium to cook up a sizzling face-off.
The episode will tape and air on January 3 with chef Nigella Lawson, Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin and actress Jane Seymour judging.
