Miley Cyrus' Former Friend: She Was a "Mean Girl"

Miley's friend not surprised by latest controversy.

Miley Cyrus' dad, Billy Ray, has spoken out to say that last week's video in which his daughter is seen smoking from a bong made him "so sad." Now a former friend of Miley is opening up about what the teen queen was like in high school...and unfortunately, you probably won't be surprised.

In the video of Miley Cyrus smoking salvia from a bong that hit the Web last week, it's pretty clear that Miley will do anything to be popular. Now her friend from high school says she's always been that way -- that when it comes to being cool, Miley knows no limits.

Nicole Mullen-Holm says she was good friends with Miley Cyrus in high school, but that they no longer speak. Nicole says that just a few years ago before Miley exploded in the public's eye, she reigned as the queen of their high school. "Miley was a cheerleader and was with the ‘in' crowd," Nicole revealed. "She was never bullied in elementary or middle school [as she's said she was]. If anyone even touched her it would have been the end of the world. Her dad would own the school!"

Nicole says it was Miley who was a meanie in school to kids -- not the other way around. "Miley is a liar who bullied girls and was a real b*tch to everyone," she said. She also slipped up, calling Miley by her given name, Destiny, and said that given how ridiculously Miley's come across in the media lately, she's concerned for her former friend's future: "I don't want her to be the mean girl that she was in middle school and I would hate to see her become the next train wreck," Nicole told Radar. "She's very lucky and should show some humility."
