Miley Cyrus Pulls a Diva Move in New York
"Do You Know Who I Am?"
Miley Cyrus committed the ultimate celeb no-no: she went into a restaurant and asked someone "Do you know who I am?" Thank goodness that, in New York, it takes a lot more to phase someone. The best part is how the blasé employee responded.
When Miley Cyrus and a friend were in the city, they swung by a burger place to pick up food. When asked her name, Miley freaked out. It was just to put on her food!
The New York Post recounts the tale: "When Cyrus and a friend came into the Pop Burger on East 58th Street and ordered, the counter manager asked for her name to mark the order. She snapped back, 'Are you serious? You don't recognize me? I'm Miley Cyrus.'"
Anyone would be pretty ticked if they're working a double-shift and someone's whipping out the 'tude, but Miley wasn't exactly in Nashville. The Post claims that the server said right back to her "That's nice for you. Here is your order. Have a good day."
.
As was pointed out, this response sounds way too nice for New York, but besides that, completely reasonable. What's got Miley Cyrus so worked up? I thought she loved to explore new cities and "blend in." I guess that doesn't apply to restaurants!
Do you lose respect for a celeb when you hear a story like this?
