Mischa Barton's Luck Goes from Bad to Worse

Mischa Barton has been getting a lot of headline space this season, and very little of it is good. This not-made-for-TV celeb has been having luck equal to Jessica Simpson's, and by that, we mean really bad! We hear that it involved fighting this time.

Rumor has it that Mischa got into a fight in a New York bar after she accidentally stepped on someone's foot at a party. The reports claim that Mischa had a drink poured all over her after she tromped on the person's toes, and that she left angrily after the altercation.

A source told the whole story, and as far as anonymous reports go, this one is pretty good: "I was standing beside this guy at the bar when Mischa went past us carrying two drinks. The next thing I knew he threw his drink over her back and she turned around and asked him: 'Did you just throw a drink over me?' The man responded that the drink was in retaliation for Mischa stepping on his shoe and she threw one of her drinks in his face."

Mischa's friend tried to come to her rescue, and he "came over to confront the guy and asked him to step outside," said the source. The man who dumped the drink on Mischa (who was dressed as a peacock) was also rumored to have gotten into a fight on the dance floor as well, and he had several scrapes to prove it.
