Mixed Feelings on Lily Allen's New Jewelry Line

Smile for Lily's jewelry!

Lily Allen seems to be everywhere these days. In addition to her music, she recently became a Chanel girl. And now she has a new line of jewelry. We have mixed feelings on it.

Oh, Lily Allen; it might just be that we have mixed reactions on you. And your jewelry line is a true reflection of you. But really, Lily Allen does confuse us. Sometimes we love her music and think it's incredibly creative and unique. And her voice is beautiful. But then she often seems like a big mess who doesn't care about anything.

Her new jewelry line is certainly fun, which is a true reflection of her personality. But some of it just looks totally cheap to us. Like the pink and gold smiley face winking earrings. Ugh. OK, we get it, Lily had a hit song "Smile," but does that mean it's necessary to create matching jewelry? There are tons of smilie medallions in her collection. The apple and the pear necklace are a little random too and look like something you could pull off the rack of a cheap jewelry store display.

We do, however, love the gold and silver dangly fish earrings. And the diamond (fake?) encrusted poodle necklace is kind of growing on us.

The line is designed for girls and women age 14-40. That's certainly a big age gap!

Lily Allen's jewelry collection is due to come out in September and we're interested to see the whole thing; not to mention, see the prices on it.
