Morgan Freeman Is Gettin' Sued
Mr. Freeman, explain yourself.
A couple months ago, Morgan Freeman was involved in a car crash. Now, his passenger is suing him for negligence and said she wants to clear her name from claims she was his mistress.
Wow. That sure took a turn for the worse. One minute he's giving soneone a lift, the next he finds himself slapped with a lawsuit and an alleged mistress.
Demaris Meyer, the passenger, said,
"I have been labeled as the 'other woman' and have been accused of having caused the breakup of Mr. Freeman's marriage. Nothing could be further from the truth," Meyer said at a news conference in Los Angeles.
The crash happened the night of August 3, 2008, near a home that Freeman keeps in Charleston, Mississippi, when he lost control of his Nissan Maxima and it struck a ditch and rolled over.
What? So Demaris, you just happened to find yourself in the car of an Oscar winner? I'm not saying there was anything going on, but at least tell us why you two were carpooling.
