Natalie Portman is causing a stir this morning as she's stepped forward to say that she'll never appear nude in a film again. The sole time she's ever done this was in the 2007 R-rater Hotel Chevalier, the Paris hotel-based flick that saw her star alongside Jason Schwartzman.

The movie earned a reported $33 million worldwide, but money's not enough to get 28-year-old Harvard grad Portman to strip down again. "My picture ended up on porn sites, and that's the dilemma," she explained. And as we know, Portman has her beliefs.

Plus, she added, the audience was so obsessed with her naked body that they didn't pay attention to the film's creative strengths: "It really depressed me that half of every review on the film was about the nudity." Of the Hotel Chevalier perversion, Portman continued: "It made me think I shouldn't have done it. I'm not prudish about nudity. I think it's beautiful in films, and sex is such a big part of life. My issue is that I feel it takes something away from what you're doing when the focus is put on the wrong thing."
