New Moon's Alex Meraz Jealous of Taylor Lautner?

Should werewolves get jealous?

While we're all eagerly waiting for Valentine's Day to come to theaters, Twilight's Alex Meraz is talking about how much he hates the movie. But maybe he's just jealous that Taylor Lautner scored a part with such a star-studded cast. Would Alex have turned it down?

Alex went on a bit of an anti-Valentine's Day rampage on Twitter yesterday. No not the actual February 14th, but the upcoming movie with the same name as the holiday. The movie that his Twilight co-star, Taylor Lautner, has a part in.

Alex said, "Sorry Taylor but the movie "valentines day" looks lame and desperate it cries out"look we have all the biggest starz in 1movie pleez watch!" Um, OK Alex, are you a bit jealous? After all, Taylor's part in the movie is pretty tiny (ahem, kind of like Alex's in Twilight). And I would love to see Alex turn down the role for himself.

The werewolf known as Alex continued, "P.S. it has nothing to do with the talented actors in the movie I just don't like the producer & Directors "get rich quick skeem" nuff said." Interesting considering Alex stars in some of the most hyped-up movies of all time. No, the actors weren't all well-known before the movies, but the popularity of the books almost guaranteed the movies would be successful.

After getting lots of angry tweets in response to his thoughts, Alex tweeted, "Talk about biting the hand that feeds me..but I'm a wolf for crying out loud! I'll be careful next time I spill twitter all over everyone."

He probably should be because not only are Taylor Lautner fans going to defend him till death, but his comments were pretty ignorant. Especially depending his movie track record, which doesn't contain much except the Twilight movies. I'm sure he would count himself lucky to get a role in Gary Marshall's Valentine's Day.
