A lot of people have observed that presidential contender Newt Gingrich, the younger version of him, anyway, has a lot in common looks-wise with The Office star Rainn Wilson.

Gingrich himself has a different self-image: He thinks he looks a lot more like Brad Pitt.

During an interview on the Rich Stevens Radio Show this week, TMZ.com reports, Gingrich was asked, "If Hollywood was going to do a movie about your life, who would you like to see play the lead role?"

"Oh, in my fantasy life?" Gingrich replied. "Brad Pitt … why not?"

"Is it because you both look so much alike?” Stevens asked.

"No, I don’t look like him at all," Gingrich said. "He's thinner, he's better looking, he's younger. But you asked me if I had anyone who could play me in a movie, why not go for Brad Pitt? Look, if you’re gonna go for it … You gotta relax and just, you know, let your imagination soar."

Well, congrats, Mr. Gingrich, because when it comes to the politician who has the most imagination about his self-image, you definitely get our vote.
