Nick Lachey Back With Vanessa Minnillo

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are "trying to figure things out."

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo broke up in June, but it didn't last very long. They've been spotted all over each other in public ever since the split, proving that when it comes to getting over someone, sometimes the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

But in this case, maybe weak's not the worst thing. Lachey continues to credit Minnillo with her brains; recently he said, "she's a very smart girl. She's far smarter than I." Plus, it sounds like they're really trying to give this round their best. According to Us Weekly, Nick Lachey said in September, "We're trying to figure things out. I don't pretend to know what the future holds, but everything's good. Vanessa's a good girl, and I care about her a lot."

Just last month Nick was gushing over how good single feels...but in real life as in Hollywood, sometimes love feels better.
