Nicole Richie Struggles With Death of Ex-Fiance DJ AM
Nicole Richie is struggling to cope with DJ AM's death, according to reports. The pregnant mum, who was once engaged to the DJ, is said to have collapsed from shock when she heard the news.
The reasons behind the death of DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, are still unclear. The pair dated from 2003 to 2005 and broke up after a nine-month-long engagement. A pal said: "Nicole almost collapsed in grief when she found out. She said she felt like her heart stopped for a few minutes. "She's horrified and regrets that she didn't reach out and help him." Nicole was one of many mourners who attended his private funeral in LA. It is believed that Adam helped Nicole overcome her addictions.
