Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Twitter About Sparrow

Nicole Richie gave birth just yesterday but she and husband Joel Madden are already gushing about her new bundle of joy on Twitter.

"Geuss who's back ... Oh i'm sorry we were only having a little baby boy," Madden wrote Wednesday morning.

Later, he tweeted, "1st day of his life & my son is already a trending topic on twitter. That's right son, ur just like your old man. wait,i've never been a #TT"

He even compared kids to dogs by writing, "Babies are like the human version of puppies."

Heading over to Richie's page, her Twitter read, "What a great day to come back on Twitter. Thank you everyone for your well wishes. I love my family!!"

Sounds like the couple is very happy and excited about little Sparrow James Midnight Madden.
