Octuplet Mom Is Bankrupt and Loves Fertility Doctors

And this news is shocking why?

In news that surprises no one, it was revealed that the Californian mother who gave birth to octuplets conceived through IVF (fertility treatments for the acronym-averse out there). But that's not all.

In addition to already having six kids (including a set of twins), CBS News announced that her family is bankrupt and she's living with her parents.

I'd like to remind the gentle reader that the woman in question is only being reported on because she's had many babies. Otherwise, this story has nothing to do with anything.

But speculation about the mother, who is in her mid-thirties, and the implantation of eight embryos during the IVF procedure has reached a fever pitch with people demanding to know more about the family, the father of the babies, and why this woman has so many kids.

Perhaps she was just very inspired by Angelina Jolie? Or perhaps it's really none of our business (queue the "if she's on welfare it's my business contingent"). Whatever the reason or resolution to this sordid tale of natal bliss, a LOLCat would sum it up best with: Large family having, you're doing it wrong.
