Octuplet Mother Wants a Sit Down with Oprah
Diane Sawyer too.
First comes six children. Then comes eight. Then comes Oprah? That's apparently what the mother of the recently-born octuplets is hoping.
Nadya Suleman, who gave birth to the eight babies last week, would like to be interviewed by Oprah or Diane Sawyer. And that's not all.
She'd also like to be paid for the interview. $2 million is the price she wants to see ponied up for her tale of in vitro in overdrive.
Suleman is hoping that talking to the media might get her some money to, say, pay for diapers for those eight little behinds. The problem, however, is that Oprah and Diane don't pay for interviews. If you want the money, honey, you're going to have to set your sights a little bit lower.
Another rumor floating about - which we'll take with a grain of salt as it might have been planted by the talk radio contingent or the development team at TLC - is that Suleman would ultimately like to pursue a career in television, appearing as a child care expert on various programs.
We'd like to laugh that one off entirely, but considering TLC's programming lineup, we can't. Watch your backs Jon and Kate. Eight might not be enough.
