Oksana Grigorieva: An Introduction

She's a long way from home.

When Mel Gibson brought his new lady, Oksana Grigorieva, to the premier of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Hollywood went abuzz with questions about the mysterious Russian beauty.

For starters, Grigorieva was born in 1970 in Central Russia and later studied at the Royal College of Music in London. She is now a composer, classically trained pianist and actress, and is the mother of Ex-Bond Timothy Dalton's son.

Before a couple weeks ago though, Oksana was virtually unknown on the Hollywood radar. Then photos surfaced of her holding hands with Mel Gibson on a beach in Costa Rica, and now, after Mel's highly publicized divorce, she is attending major movie premiers with him. More recently, a photo shoot of her modeling lingerie has been released, stoking the frenzy.

So if all the buzz is any indicator, this is just the beginning of Oksana's foray into showbiz. You better get used to spelling her name.
