Drunk Sajak Got the Spins

Venerable TV game show host, Pat Sajak, has admited to  ESPN 2's Dan Le Batard that back in the early days of Wheel of Fortune, he and letter turning hostess Vanna White, would be drunk on set.

In response to the question "Did you ever host the show drunk?" the 65 year-old mainstay said. "Yes, when I first started and was much younger and could tolerate those things," admitting that he and Vanna used to go and have margaritas at a local Burbank Mexican restaurant between show tapings.

“Vanna and I would…have two or three or six and then come and do the last shows and have trouble recognizing the alphabet,” he laughed. Since he still has the gig after 32 years (!), he never flubbed his lines or threw up on anyone's shoes.
